Another fantastic session was had with Tim Kitchen and Jerry Wong during the Adobe Inject Creativity Live Chat Show and Deeper Dive via BlueJeans.
The Spark Challenge tonight was ambitious - to create a Spark Video based on:
We did have one submission from the dilligent Sally Warrilow, who did a great job of working these elements in! Link to her work is here. During tonight's sessions, we were joined by Dr Karen Sutherland from the University of the Sunshine Coast. Her area of expertise is social media, and she shared with us some of the stories of how she helps her students get relevant, timely, real world experience while developing their personal awareness of how social media can be used... as well as the impactful way it can influence their job prospects with potential employers! She included the links to some infographics about how employers view the social media presence of prospective employees, and how that influences their decisions about hiring. Karen also shared with us some images from her calendar, taken at her local beach with her phone - they were truly stunning. I delivered a little more of my Adobe Spark Video presentation tonight as well - I had about 7-10 minutes to cover and discuss the ways that Adobe Spark projects can be embedded, not just in eLearning platforms, but also how the projects that we create during the Spark Challenges set for Inject Creativity Live can be used as a part of our professional portfolios and blogs. I also discussed a tool I use, Squirrels Reflector, and how that can be utilised to create captures of the dynamic use of apps and browser activity on a mobile device (iPhone or iPad). These resources are available below - if we have time in another session, I may cover the graduation of Spark Video projects into Adobe Premiere Rush, with a focus on sound 'polishing' to get a better final product.
